Though Xpert has undergone extensive testing at BioXplore's own laboratories and many similar commercial units are being used in industry, we are entering into a collaboration to get independent feedback.

A full scale development test bed of BioXplore's Xpert multiple bioreactor has started at University of Milano – Bicocca. Trials has started on May 19th at Biosciences and Biotechnology Department and will last up to 6 months.

We plan to collect a huge amount of data from this campaign, to carefully check system performances and reliability, to set up standard operating protocols and to get more ideas on future developments.

We will also test some non-technical but still critical topics that can seriously affect customer confidence such as system layout, ergonomic aspects, handling procedures and documentation.
