We are proud to launch what we believe is the smallest scale, fully featured fermentation and bio-process reactor system.

Based on extensive experience in related applications, including enzmatic processes, the Xplorer can generate scalebale data with several vessels in parallel.

Like the bigger Xpert, the new Xplorer is designed to be a turn-key benchtop system and will be available in two basic versions for bacterial and cell cultures respectively.

Its four or eight mini reactors can be controlled independently and use a direct drive stirring motor with a magnetic coupling on the rotating shaft in order to minimize contamination hazards.

The system is intended to be integrated with micro sampling systems and analytical on line instrumentation to allow very small working volume and minimize media consumption during early phase of screening and process development.

In the future Xplorer will also be customisable with automatic handling systems to make its use even faster and more reliable.
